PC Version Settings Found in Red Dead Redemption 2 Game Files

One user from GTAForums found the settings of the version for PC in Red Dead Redemption 2 files.

It seems that the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 for PCs is only a matter of time.

Red Dead Redemption 2 port for PC was very prominent in the news recently. Just a few days ago we wrote about the fact that Bonaire project, on which Rockstar Games is currently working, would be a dedicated PC version of the Western hit. It turns out that every day there are more and more leaks and speculations about the game. On the GTAForums dedicated to Rockstar games, user VideoTech has published an entry in which he presents his find: settings for the PC version of the game.

The information can be found in the game files and includes details of texture quality, MSAA, and refresh rate. The author has not published details of many other settings, such as motion blur, shading and grass quality, but claims that they are also there.

Special attention should also be paid to the information that the port will support DirectX 12 and DirectX 11, as well as the monitor settings presented by the author.

This of course still does not give us any certainty that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on PC, but with the flood of recent leaks, it is becoming easier to believe that the port is actually being developed. Nevertheless, we still have to wait for the official confirmation of these speculations.
