Pharaoh Now and Then; Visual Comparison With the Upcoming Remaster
A new trailer for Pharaoh: A New Era shows off the remaster of the iconic strategy game in action.
It's been many months since the refreshed Pharaoh was announced, but only now DotEmu has shared another trailer for Pharaoh: A New Era. The material focuses on visual comparison between the old and new version, the latte is said to retain the spirit of the original. Whether it really does so, you can check it out in the video below.
A New Era will be primarily a visual facelift for the city builder from 1999. However, the devs at Triskell Interactive are also preparing some gameplay improvements, probably with a view to adapting the game to modern standards. No details have been released yet, but throughout 2021, the developers presented a refreshed look of buildings and music.

Unfortunately, we still don't know when Pharaoh: A New Era will be released. On Steam there is still the information about the launch coming "soon", although at the moment we have to assume that it means "2022". We are waiting for an official announcement from either the developers or publisher.
