Will Battlefield 6 change things for the worse? There are discussions about the recoil.
Battlefield 6 has sparked widespread online discussion, particularly among fans who remain skeptical of the developers. EA DICE has been openly sharing progress on the new game, with some features even being seen as a return to the series' roots. However, that hasn’t been enough to win over all players. Even the basic functionality of the weapons has been called into question.
On Reddit, the Battlefield community shared a video comparing the recoil and spread systems of the fan-favorite Battlefield 4 with those in the upcoming game. If the presentation in the recording is anything to go by, this mechanic appears to be missing entirely from the latest part of the game, as can be seen in one of the recent clips.
The possible removal of recoil and spread has raised concerns among commentators and players, who worry it could make Battlefield 6 too easy. Some speculated that the absence of these mechanics might be a bug from Battlefield Labs. Opinions varied, but the majority voiced concern.
The question remains: is there really anything to fear? The remaining players were quick to debunk the negative rumors - pointing out that the weapon in the recording is the Singaporean Ultimax-100 rifle, which was specifically designed to minimize recoil.
This might come as a shock, but that gun does in fact shoot like that in real life. It has a “constant recoil” system which gives it basically no climb.
Meanwhile, another player compared several of the new game's weapons, demonstrating that each one has distinct recoil and spread patterns. While the news didn’t erase all doubts, a significant number of fans chose to give EA DICE the benefit of the doubt - especially since no stream or video can truly reflect a player’s actual skill.
So do we want a more realistic battlefield or do we want a less realistic battlefield cuz I swear to god people keep flip flopping on this

Guns have identities. People are overreacting to stuff they haven’t fully experienced.
Some have pointed out that Battlefield is ultimately a fictional shooter - and was never meant to perfectly replicate reality. What do you think about this?
