PlayStation 2020 Summary - Check Your Stats on PS4 and PS5

Sony has put together a page that will sum up your 2020 with the PS4 and PS5, as long as you own the latest PlayStation console. You'll find out how much time you spent with your chosen games and how many trophies you managed to collect.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Sony has prepared a summary feature of 2020 for the PS4 and PS5;
  2. However, many users are reporting that they cannot use the website.

Sony once again decided to provide us with game stats for the past year. On a dedicated website we can generate a report summarizing the year 2020. The requirement is, of course, a PSN account on which we played at least 10 hours on PS4 between January 1 and December 31, 2020.

The generated report includes, among other things, information about the games with which we spent the most time, and the number of trophies earned, along with a breakdown of their value. If we own a PS5, the stats from that hardware will also be included. For those tempted to check their details, a code will be emailed to them later, enabling them to download a dynamic theme for their PS4.

There is, however, a certain, and I dare say fundamental, problem. Plenty of people reported in the comments under PlayStation blog's post that the page where we generate the report simply doesn't work. An error message appears suggesting that the required conditions are not being met. Even if someone does meet them.

The lucky users show off their results, while the rest of us have to wait for Sony to fix the problem.

He hasn't yet written a text that he would be 100% satisfied with. He started his adventure with games at the age of 3, when he managed to convince his father to buy a C64 computer. The love for electronic entertainment awakened by Flimbo's Quest blossomed during the first adventures with Heroes of Might & Magic, reaching its peak after purchasing the first PlayStation. As he grew older, he had more encounters with Nintendo portable consoles, and also returned to the PC as an additional gaming platform. He collects games and is a fan of emulation.
