Plug-in Warns About Buying a Game Available in Xbox Game Pass
A useful browser plug-in informs users if a particular title on Steam is available in Xbox Game Pass. The extension works with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

- A browser extension displays information on game cards on Steam, telling whether they are available in Xbox Game Pass;
- The plug-in also warns us if a title is about to leave our subscription;

Xbox Game Pass is a great offer for people who want to play a large number of games while spending a relatively small amount of money, but sometimes it's difficult to figure out what titles are available in Microsoft's service at the time. It's usually not a big problem, but sometimes when shopping on Steam, we wonder if we aren't able to play a given item already. In such situations, the Xbox Game Pass info on Steam extension for Chrome and Firefox browsers can help (a version dedicated to Google's browser also works with other Chromium-based applications, such as Microsoft Edge).
After installing the plug-in, an elegant green frame will be displayed on Steam cards of games available in Xbox Game Pass, informing us when the given title is available in the PC version of this subscription, or that it will soon leave it. Here's how it looks like in two examples available in Game Pass: the recently added Night in the Woods and the leaving Metro 2033 Redux.
Unfortunately, the extension will not help those who shop directly in Steam, but, as they say, it is better than nothing.
