It's been a while since the release of the major 0.1.1 update for Path of Exile 2, so it's time to present the next changes that will be introduced to the game. The developers have not been idle and have prepared several improvements, thanks to which, it will be a bit easier for us to navigate the maps.

Path of Exile 2 - new features in patch 0.1.1c

To begin, let's note that we haven't received the complete list of changes in patch 0.1.1c yet, just a preview. The devs plan to release an update by the end of this week and then we will receive all the details. But for now, let's move with what we currently know.

With the 0.1.1 patch, the developers added the option of six-time respawning at the Arbiter of Ash boss to give players the opportunity to learn his moveset. It was announced that eventually, the same would be done for other bosses, and we didn't have to wait long. Starting with version 0.1.1c, we can revive up to 5 times during the battle with Olroth and in the Twisted Domain and Crux of Nothingness areas, based on the difficulty level.

Furthermore, navigating through some maps will become a bit easier, as GGG decided to add more checkpoints and improve the placement of some of those already present. Besides, strongbox icons have been added to the minimap, and those associated with league mechanics will no longer vanish when we distance ourselves too much from them. In this way, it will be easier for us to return to them.

In addition to these new features, the minions have been slightly improved, allowing them to squeeze through smaller gaps. The use of the controller has also been changed. We also got a brief list of fixed bugs, including the "potential" removal of failures on Windows 24H2 systems and the fix for the Atlas map rendering issue.

Unfortunately, we don't know whether the update will introduce the Stash Tabs (special tabs in the box that can be purchased in the game store) dedicated to maps, as announced last time. Players continue to demand them, indicating that this matter is very important to many of them.
