New DCL for Path of Exile Coming in February

The team at Grinding Gear Games has announced that the next expansion for Path of Exile will be released in February 2022.

UPCOMING ATTRACTIONS FOR POE FANS:
  1. The Delirium Everywhere event starts tomorrow;
  2. The new expansion will be released in early February;
  3. Some time after the expansion we will receive a new difficulty level.

Grinding Gear Games informed about the attractions that await the fans of the RPG Path of Exile at the beginning of next year.

First of all, update 3.17, which is supposed to introduce the next major expansion, will be released in early February 2022. This is a little later than originally planned, so the Scourge expansion's league will be extended by at least two weeks. For now, the developers are not ready to provide exact dates, as Grinding Gear Games employees are going on vacation.

Traditionally, a week before the release of the next DLC an extensive stream will be organized, in which the creators will reveal the secrets of the expansion and will give the audience prizes.

Also plans concerning the experimental new difficulty level, known as "hard mode" for now, have changed. Originally, testing was to begin before the release of update 3.17, but the patch and the related expansion have become a priority for Grinding Gear Games. The developers will return to the topic of the new difficulty level only after the expansion's release.

While waiting for the DLC, fans of Path of Exile can have fun in various events. In a few days the Atlas Invasion event will end, in which players can join the fight against new bosses in each area of Wraeclast. Tomorrow, on the other hand, Delirium Everywhere will be launched, in which the mists of Delirium will cover the entire land, as a result of which every area of the map will become more challenging and filled with enemies.
