Sony has unveiled the lineup of games that will be added to all versions of PlayStation Plus in April. From April 2 to May 6, subscribers of the service will be able to assign the three titles listed below to their accounts.

PS Plus Essential April 2024

  1. Immortals of Aveum (PS5)
  2. Minecraft Legends (PS4, PS5)
  3. Skul: The Hero Slayer (PS4, PS5)

Immortals of Aveum is the standout of the April offer. Ascendant Studios' first-person shooter is a fully-fledged AAA title that was released in August of last year. We take on the role of Jaka - a battle mage tasked with saving a fantastical world plunged into conflict. The story-driven game received mixed opinions from players and greatly divided reviewers.

Minecraft Legends is a spin-off of Mojang studio's hit. It combines action and strategy, requiring us to protect the land from invaders. The title, sometimes described as Mount & Blade for children, was met with mediocre reception by both reviewers and players. It's worth mentioning that the devs recently announced the end of further development of the game.

The dark horse of this month, however, could be Skull: The Hero Slayer. In this roguelike platformer, we battle against waves of enemies as the titular skeleton in order to rescue the enslaved king. The title boasts an average rating of 80/100 on Metacritic and 93% positive reviews on Steam.
