Sony has released a test firmware update to version 9.0 on PS4, which enables us to preview trophies from games released on PS5.
Sony released a trial version of the PS4 software update to version 9.00. Those who previously signed up for the beta testing program received invitations on their email adresses with a code to download the new firmware.

As you can see, these are not stunning changes, although the option to view trophies from games released on PS5 may be useful to some user. Nevertheless, it's clear that all the attention of Sony engineers is focused on the development of PlayStation 5, which has recently received a new version of firmware to take advantage of internal NVMe SSDs.
