PS4 Firmware Version 7.55 Available for Download

Gamers can now download the 7.55 firmware to their PlayStation 4 consoles. As is often the case, the new software update focuses exclusively on system performance.

Sony has released a software update for PlayStation 4. Firmware version 7.55 weighs 471.4MB and can be downloaded either from the console or as a file via the official support website. According to the manufacturer, the update only improves system performance. For real novelties (such as two-stage login verification), we will have to wait for version 8.00.
