PS5 DualSense Will have USB-C Connector and Headset Jack

Sony has reassured fans by confirming that the DualSense controller for PlayStation 5 will have an audio jack connector for the headset.

When playing on DualSense we won't just have to rely on the controller's built-in microphone.

Yesterday, DualSense, the dedicated wireless controller for PlayStation 5, was revealed. We learned a lot about the device, but there are still a lot of questions left. Sony's representative has just answered one of these questions, confirming that there will be an audio jack connector on the pad, so we can connect our own headset just like on PlayStation 4.

The question was born because the connector was not visible in the released images of DualSense. The pad is to have a built-in microphone for voice communication. This solution will certainly prove to be useful, but there is no doubt that the use of a traditional headset will provide a better experience. On the pictures of the device you can see a USB-C connector instead.

As a reminder, PlayStation 5 is scheduled to be released this year, although we haven't yet seen the exact release date.
