It’s this time of the week! We can finally answer more Buzzwords in Cookie Jam. This event is a great opportunity not only to earn nice rewards but also to learn something. Sometimes, it takes us on a nostalgic trip, too. As it was with me and the first question in this set - “Hello! But on the seas.” Let’s find the answer to this one.
I was young some time ago. It is hard to imagine, and even harder for me to remember, but it is true. I was a young boy who lived near the mountains. At that time, I had a period when I was fascinated by the sea and lives of sailors. Of course, I got my knowledge from romanticized TV dramas and video games. Till this day I fondly remember Sid Meier's Pirates!, Sea Dogs or Corsairs: Conquest at Sea. Hopefully, they will be remade at some point! While I am not a sailor now, as you can see yourself, believe me when I tell you that this question was a piece of cake for me to figure out. So, without further ado, the answer to:
Yes, “ahoy” is a simple way to say hi, when you are a sailor. It seems that I will enjoy this week’s questions quite a lot. I believe that I can give you a hint to the next question already. While I need to check it when I earn some points, I have a strong feeling that the next Buzzword is also connected to the sea and pirates – “Walk the…”. If I am not mistaken it is a form of punishment. Let me double check it and return to read the next guide! Have fun, as I surely will have with this set of questions.
