Life of Crime Mod for RDR2 Adds Story Campaign and Character Creator [UPDATED]
A modder is preparing for Red Dead Redemption 2 fans what they expected from Rockstar Games: a new story campaign, missions, a character creator, and more.

Author of Life of Crime for RDR2 has given us permission to host a mirror of his project on our FTP server.
Rockstar Games does not plan new content for Red Dead Redemption 2 nor even does it plan further development of the game's online module. Fans of the Wild West are therefore left with nothing to do but either dream of a sequel or take matters into their own hands. This is what the creator of Life of Crime, an ambitious modification for RDR 2, decided, giving players a lot of new content.
Although formally the project has already received version 2.1, modder known as CruelMasterMC is far from completing his work. Nevertheless, he already has something to boast about. The creator has already prepared, among other things, a character editor and new heists (including on trains), as well as a dedicated intro. Most of this we got in version 1.0, which was released last year - only that then the content did not go beyond the additional activities available to Arthur Morgan.
Red Dead Redemption 2 without Arthur Morgan
Version 2.0 is expected to be a completely different experience. In the mod, we will play a as completely new character, essentially unrelated to Arthur Morgan and the Dutch van der Linde gang (although we do encounter them during the game). It is therefore a fresh adventure, with separate missions, storyline, cutscenes, etc., and even a skill tree. CruelMasterMC wants also record character dialogues.
Of course, creating such a huge package of content takes time, especially since the modder sometimes does streaming as well. The project also encountered some problems, fortunately rather minor ones (for example, visual errors when choosing long hair for the character). Nevertheless the whole thing made an impression on fans of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Life of Crime - installation
If you are interested in checking out the current version of Life of Crime, you can download the mod from Nexus Mods. Just add the file "LifeOfCrime.asi" to the Red Dead Redemption 2 folder. The modder also recommends installing Script Hook RDR2 and ASI Loader (version.dll).
