Imagine RDR2 Ending Like This, Internet Would Explode

One Red Dead Redemption 2 fan decided to slightly modify the game's ending. In their version, it would be shocking and annoying to many - like the cheapest plot twists.

Red Dead Redemption 2 despite being several years old and the fact that it's set in a fairly niche western genre, still stirs up excitement - and raises some "what if" questions for some fans. One such fan is Georgian_Shark, who decided to to remake the game's moving ending.

The user created a thread on Reddit, under the title "Imagine ending like this" and posted the video below. In order not to go into too much detail, I will only mention that Arthur Morgan, the protagonist of RDR2, has a slightly different role in it. One for which I personally would lose respect for the script decisions of the original developers.

Such an ending would arouse all sorts of emotions

The whole thing is realized through a modification that substitutes the relevant character models and uses various dialogue lines from the game. The effect certainly looks interesting.

The project has not escaped jokes from the community. Some say that the above video was directed by Shyamalan, famous for his plot twists, others compare it to Spanish soap operas.

There is also no shortage of users who find the idea interesting. In their opinion, it would be a thrilling twist in the version of the ending with Arthur's low level of honor (there are four variants based on this aspect in the game).

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been with us since October 26, 2018. The game is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Despite being a story about the not-so-popular Wild West, the game managed to achieve considerable success.

It is a pity that in the face of GTA 5 the results it obtained fade. We will probably wait a long time for the new installment, if it is ever announced. I, on the other hand, would already be happy with a remaster of the first game - as long as it is not not done like Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition.
