Remedy Revealed a PS1 Trailer for Control
Remedy released a short video showing how Control could have looked if it had been released in 1996 on the first PlayStation console. The material was prepared on the occasion of April Fool's Day.
Today is April Fools' Day, which means that the Internet was flooded with a wave of more or less credible humorous reports. One of the more creative gags was prepared by Remedy. The Finnish team created a trailer for its latest hit, Control, if it were released on the first PlayStation. You can watch the whole thing below.
We must admit that the would-be port of Control looks quite impressive. It can even boast destructible environment without noticeable performance drop. It's clear, then, that the lesson from the original's launch on PlayStation 4 has been learned.
