We have finally lived to see the release of Resident Evil 4, the revamped version of one of the best survival horror games ever.
Resident Evil 4, a remake of Capcom's iconic 2005 survival horror game, has launched.
In the launch trailer, available above, it was revealed that on April 7, a free DLC for Resident Evil 4, titled The Mercenaries, will be released.
True to its title, the expansion will enhance the game with the Mercenaries mode, well known to fans of the brand, where our task will be to kill as many enemies as possible within a certain time limit.
Crowds of players have been waiting for Resident Evil 4, and all indications are that Capcom has delivered. The game is collecting excellent reviews - on OpenCritic the remake's average rating is 92%.
We should also mention two interesting videos prepared by the ElAnalistaDeBits channel. The first one, available below, offers a visual comparison between Resident Evil 4 on PlayStation 4, PS4 Pro and PlayStation 5.
The second video shows how the character and monster models have changed compared to the 2005 original.
Finally, it is worth quoting the system requirements of the PC version of the game. The following configuration is expected to provide about 45 fps on low settings at 1080p resolution, although the devs warn that performance may deteriorate in the most intense sections.
