At the beginning of September last year, info about the return of MicroProse exploded on the Internet. The iconic developer created several dozen of the most popular simulators and strategy games at the turn of the 80s and 90s. The brand is now owned by the author of one of the largest open-world simulation environments - David Lagettie - who earlier announced that his main goal is now to return to the roots of the company. The first games of the reborn MicroProse are expected to appear in 2020, and it turns out that developers have about twenty titles in the pipeline.

This is what the co-founder of the former MicroProse - Bill Stealey - said during the online conference for Pocket Gamer.

"If you liked these games from MicroProse the first time, you will like everything that is coming from the new MicroProse. I wasn't allowed to tell about it, but I've seen this development list and there's about twenty very good-looking games, all of them are in the history of the original MicroProse."

Unfortunately, all we know so far is that the first game to be released by the new MicroProse will be Warbirds 2020. According to earlier information, it was to be released in the first quarter of this year. We still have to wait for the announcements of the next titles and additional details.
