Retro Version of Among Us Reminds Us Game Boy's Charm

Youtuber Lumpy Touch has prepared a short video showing how Among Us would look if it was released on the Game Boy console. The movie met with a very warm reception from the community.

Many times we have already had the opportunity to admire fan works presenting Among Us in 3D version. But have you ever wondered what this online game by Innersloth would have looked like if it had been released in the late 80's and early 90's on Nintendo's handheld Game Boy? This question was answered by YouTube user Lumpy Touch. He prepared a short, almost three-minute animation, showing Among Us in a version for a device with only 8 KiB RAM and VRAM and an eight-bit 4.19 MHz processor. You can watch it below.

Lumpy Touch's animation was warmly received by the community. On Reddit we can read comments emphasizing that his work is able to evoke a feeling of nostalgia and longing for times long gone. There are also praises for the quality of the video and requests to turn it into a real game.

If you liked the above material, it's worth checking out other animations by Lumpy Touch. The user specializes in reworking well-known brands in quite an unusual way - always in retro style. In recent months, for example, he has prepared the Relax, Jon series, which shows the adventures of the famous cat Garfield in a horror movie. It is available here.
