Rocket League Sideswipe Announced

Developers from Psyonix unveiled Rocket League Swideswipe, a mobile installment of their flagship game, which is coming to iOS and Android smartphones later this year.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Psyonix announced Rocket League Sideswipe;
  2. It will be a mobile spin-off to Rocket League with simplified controls and side-scrolling view;
  3. The game will hit iOS and Android devices later this year.

American company Psyonix - the creators of Rocket League - have announced a mobile spin-off of the said masterpiece. titled Rocket League Sideswipe. Below is a short gameplay trailer.

The gameplay formula in the discussed game will be similar to its bigger and older brother - the fun will consist in playing ball with the use of cars (1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2). The difference is that in Rocket League Sideswipe the action will be watched from the side, and the controls will be simplified to better fit the smartphone. Matches will also be shorter - they will last about 2 minutes. It is worth noting that the game will not lack options to customize the appearance and capabilities of our vehicle.

Rocket League Sideswipe will be released later this year (the exact date is unknown at the moment) and will hit iOS and Android devices. Yesterday, the alpha-testing of this game began, but unfortunately only players from New Zealand and Australia can participate in it.
