Here's the Colorful and Diverse World of Saints Row Reboot

A short video showing the world of the upcoming Saints Row game, namely the city of Santo Ileso and the surrounding areas, has appeared on the web. It seems colorful and quite diverse.

There are still over four months to go until the release of the reboot of Saints Row - or, if you prefer that term, the fifth installment of the series. After the announcement at gamescom we saw some gameplay footage and learned something about character customization. Now, Game Informer published a short material on its YouTube channel, which enables us to take a look at the game world, the fictional city of Santo Ileso and the surrounding areas. You can watch the video below.

Although it is difficult to assess the map of the new Saints Row based on such scarce fragments, one can get the impression that it won't be boring or small - it's supposed to be the largest virtual space in the history of the series. The locations seem diverse, and the colorful (too colorful?) palette draws the eye to the screen. The streets of Santo Ileso may not be overly crowded, but they're not empty either. It's unlikely that this fictional city will top GTA 5's Los Santos, but it should do the job. No more and no less.

Saints Row - referred to as the "soft" reboot of the series - is to launch on February 25, 2022. The game will be released on PS4, PS5, XOne, XSX|S and PC - on the latter platform exclusively on Epic Games Store. Our preview of this title can be found in the link below.
