Scorn - Release Date for H. R. Gigeresque Horror Game

We've finally found out when Scorn, Ebb Software's oft-delayed horror game, is set to be released.

  2. Genre: Action game
  3. Platforms: PC, XSX
  4. Release Date: October 2022

Serbian studio Ebb Software has finally revealed when we can expect the release of Scorn, a horror game inspired by the works of H.R. Giger. The devs revealed that the game will be launched in October 2022.

This information was provided in a new trailer for the project. It does not contain any gameplay footage, but lets us enjoy the impressive locations generated on the game engine.

We have been waiting for Scorn for a very long time. Work on it began in 2014, and initially the game was to be released in late 2017. When the devs raised funds for the game through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, there was talk of a 2018 release.

Then the project went quiet for a long time. After some time, the developers announced that the game will come to Xbox Series X and began to publish new videos more often, but avoided declarations concerning the release date. A year ago they announced that the title will be released in 2021, but recently it was revealed that its launch will be delayed until 2022.

As you can see, Scorn has already suffered so many delays that it's hard to fully believe the devs' assurances about the launch in October 2022. However, we hope that this time Ebb Software will meet the deadline and next fall we will finally be able to play the full version of the game.

Scorn is scheduled for PC and Xbox Series X/S. PC edition will be sold on Steam and Microsoft Store.
