Settlement Survival is a city builder, whose full version was released recently. During the game you take on the role of the administrator of a small settlement, the development of which you must take care of. In order to do this, among other things, you need to acquire more animals. Below you will learn how to do this. There is also a list of species present in the game.
How to get animals in Settlement Survival?
In Settlement Survival you can acquire more animal species. This is a necessary activity, as it enables you to provide the inhabitants of your settlement with food, among other things.
In total, there are two ways in the game to acquire new animals. The first, and also more expensive, is shopping at the docks. When you click on this building, you have to select the "Order" tab and then "Animals". There you will see a complete list of species that you can purchase, along with their prices. You must keep in mind, however, that the order can be made once a year.
Of course, the "Order" option is simply a guarantee that what you want will arrive on the ferry. Ships can also arrive unsolicited at random times. In this case, however, you will have no influence on their contents.
The second method is to put up a Hunter's Hut. This building produces food and can capture more animals for the settlement. When putting up this building, look around for clusters of animals, over which a green icon appears. It should look similar to what you see in the graphic below.
In these locations, the chance of catching a particular species of animal is 100%. So this is the optimal location if you want to increase your inventory.

In Settlement Survival you will find a total of twelve species of animals. However, not all of them are found in every world. So it is possible that you will not be able to collect the full collection.

In addition, you can also purchase cats and puppies. They cost 5140 silver and have no practical function. Therefore, you will find them under the "Trade goods" tab.
A rather specific species is the Idle Chicken. This animal leaves behind tears that are necessary for the construction of special buildings, which are only available if you have the right blueprints.
