Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Demo Coming Soon

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, a pirate tactical strategy game in the style of the Commandos series, will receive a demo. You won't have to wait long for a chance to check out Mimimi Games' latest creation.

German studio Mimimi Games (creators of Shadow Tactics and Desperados III) announced, that its latest production, a tactical strategy game resembling Commandos, titled Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, will receive a demo version. The demo will be available to try out during Steam Next Fest, which will take place from June 19-26.

The devs will let us check out the first act of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, more precisely - the introduction to the game and missions on two islands, between which we will end up aboard the Red Marley, a ghost ship acting as our base.

The developers anticipate that gameplay in the demo will provide from 2 to 4 hours of fun, depending on the player's experience in the genre and their style of play.

In Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew we will find ourselves in the fictional Lost Caribbean. The main character of the game will be the pirate Afia, who will face the Inquisition, which controls the archipelago and hunts her and her fellow pirates.

In order to accomplish this task, Afia will have to infiltrate the Inquisition's strongholds and try to find the treasure of the legendary Captain Mordecai, in reality a powerful artifact.

Full version of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is scheduled to debut later this year. The title is headed for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
