Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Release Date and Gameplay Trailer

We've learned the release date for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, a new game from the creators of Shadow Tactics and Desperados 3. It was revealed in a funny trailer.

From the announcement in late January to today's PC Gaming Show - that's how long we had to wait to find out the release date of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. Mimimi Games - creators of Shadow Tactics and Desperados III - has announced that this tactical real-time strategy game will be released on August 17, 2023 on PC, PS5 and XSX/S.

Below you can watch a pretty entertaining trailer for the game, presented at the PC Gamer show. It puts a lot of emphasis on the storyline of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew - which we introduced in this news - but it also presents considerable fragments of gameplay.

A sort of icing on the cake is the catchy shanty composed by Filippo Beck Peccoz. It not only emphasizes the pirate atmosphere of the game, but also serves the narrative function of the trailer.

As a reminder, let me add that soon we will have the opportunity to check out the demo version of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. It will be made available on PC as part of Steam Next Fest, which will take place from June 19-26. Completing the demo is expected to take between two and four hours - depending on our skills and gameplay style.
