SnowRunner is now available on Steam and Microsoft Store. The game also debuted on Nintendo Switch and in Game Pass. Additionally, Season 4: New Frontiers has launched.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • PC SnowRunner went on sale on Steam and Microsoft Store;
  • The game also made its debut on Nintendo Switch and was added to Game Pass;
  • Today also marks the release of the Season 4: New Frontiers expansion pack.

Off-road simulator SnowRunner is entering new markets today. First, the game has finally gone on sale on Steam and Microsoft Store. For the previous year, the PC version was available only on Epic Games Store. The game also debuted on the Nintendo Switch console.

Second, SnowRunner has been added to the catalogue of games available in the Game Pass subscription. Importantly, this applies to both the PC version and the one for Xbox One. It is worth mentioning that currently there is a limited time promotion in which you can get 3 months of subscription in the Ultimate version for just $1.

Simulator's expansion to new platforms and services is not the only important event for fans of the game. Also today, another expansion was released, in the form of Season 4: New Frontiers. The DLC introduces a new region with fresh challenges. The zone is 12 square kilometers and consists of four maps set on the territory of the Amur region, located in the southeastern part of Russia.

The DLC also offers two additional vehicles (ZiKZ 605-R and Khan 317 Sentinel) and a set of special items to customize the machines, such as alternative skins and decorations. We can play with all of these in the new main quest, which aims to rebuild an old Soviet rocket launch facility.

SnowRunner was released on April 20, 2020, simultaneously on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game met with a warm reception. The PC version received an average rating of 82% on Metacritic. In the case of console releases, it is 81%.
