Star Citizen devs have sharded details about the ongoing Foundation Festival 2022, and we now know what rewards the instructors can look forward to, as well as what ships can be used by new players as part of the Free Fly.

By becoming an instructor and helping new players, you can receive many rewards. For a certain number of instructions, you will receive beanie hats (1 or 3 instructions) and a baseball cap (6 instructions).

For five instructions from a given category (e.g. basics, mining, trade), you will receive a special paint set related to the. The best players in each category will get ships related to it as a reward.

New players can take advantage of the Free Fly option to test the game for free until July 15. As part of it, they will get access to six different machines, offering completely different experiences (Cutlass Black, Dragonfly Black, Prospector, Mercury, Arrow and Avenger Titan).

You will also be able to get Dragonfly Black as part of the Referral Bonus. All you have to do is convince a friend to buy a starter pack by July 18. Both of you will get the vehicle.

You can also participate in the Tales Of Camaraderie contest. All you have to do is present a real (and interesting) story related to helping other players or a situation in which you yourself received help. Among the prizes, there are three ships: the MISC Prospector, the Crusader Mercury and the Drake Caterpillar.

Foundation Festival 2022 - list of attractions

For now, the creators have shared only general information about the upcoming event. We know that it will start on July 7. At the same time, it will be an event that should appeal to both veteran and new players.

Below you will find a list of the attractions that await you at Foundation Festival 2022.

1. Free Fly, which is a free trial period that will enable players who had no previous contact with Star Citizen to test the game at no charge. In previous years, this has involved access to selected attractions offered by the game and a discount on the purchase of starter kits after the trial period ends.
2. Referral Bonus, or special rewards awarded to players who encourage their friends to buy the game. In the past, this bonus meant, for example, the Argo MPUV-1C ship, which went to both the new player and the "recruiter."
3. New rewards under the Guides System. This is a mechanic to encourage veteran pilots to support new players. Experienced pilots can teach fresh recruits and receive special gifts in exchange for help. The system is designed to help integrate the community, as well as give new players an easier start.
