The information is not a big surprise - in the past Boyega has been quite critical both of the direction in which the plot of the latest Star Wars films went, and of some fans of the franchise. It's worth noting that the actor doesn't evaluate his experience with Star War as negative - he also has many good memories and appreciates the importance of his participation in the project for his career.
All we can do now is wait for the next work, in which we will see Boyega on the screen. These will include BBC's Small Axe and the thriller Borderline.
