Star Wars Outlaws will be released on 30th August. Every fan of the franchise can pre-order this action-adventure game on Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. What about the Valve’s platform, though? From this guide you will learn more about Steam release date.

Star Wars Outlaws – Steam Release Date Explained

When Epic Games Store was launched at the end of 2018, this popular gaming company used very aggressive tactics to promote its new platform. In a couple of months, they have signed a number of exclusivity agreements for upcoming games. The biggest controversies were in the case of Metro Exodus because the title was available in pre-orders on Steam before Epic Games and Deep Silver made a deal.

One of the developers that also signed this type of contracts was Ubisoft. Back in 2019 the company decided that their games will be released only on Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. So, for the next couple of years titles form French developers weren’t available on Steam.

At the end of 2022 this deal was slightly changed. Older games like AC Valhalla or Anno 1800 has been released on Steam. Since then, all games from Ubisoft are primarily published on Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store and a couple months later they also hit Steam. For example, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was released on Valve’s platform with 7 months delay.

In the case of Star Wars Outlaws, the situation will probably be similar. It means that more or less in six months after the debut, we will see the game's release date on Steam. So, if you want to buy this title on Valve’s platform, you must be patient.
