Starfield is achieving impressive activity results on Steam, although due to its availability in Game Pass, the game never had a chance to beat the record achieved by Baldur's Gate 3.
In the end, the record for the first weekend after Starfield's release was 330,723 concurrent users. For comparison: Skyrim boasts a peak of 287,411 players, and Fallout 4 - 472,962 people.
Several days have already passed since the release of Starfield, the latest space RPG from Bethesda, so it is worth taking a look at how the game is doing.
However, Bethesda has no reasons to complain, 313 thousand is a great result, especially considering the game's availability on Game Pass, and on top of that, the game met with a warm reception. On Steam, 78% of reviews are positive.
The developers have also boasted that Starfield recorded the best launch in Bethesda's history, and by September 8 the number of people who had played the title exceeded 6 million.
