The first State of Play of this year has just been officially announced. The event, during which Sony will present its upcoming productions, will take place on January 31 at 5 pm EST.

The 40-minute broadcast will be available on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok. At least 15 titles heading for Sony platforms will be showcased as part of it. These will include, among others: Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, which, according to the Japanese, will be discussed in detail. In addition, we will get information about other titles heading to PS5 and PS VR2 in 2024 and beyond.

Unfortunately, Sony's announcement didn't include any mention of the highly anticipated Death Stranding 2. Let's recall that a few days ago, the well-known industry informant billbil-kun reported a possible presentation of Hideo Kojima's sequel during State of Play.

If the rumors are to be believed, the show should also discuss the Silent Hill II remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the Sonic Generations remaster, Judas and the next production from the Metro series.

Of the above-mentioned titles, the most certain seems to be the presentation of "Final," which -- alongside Rise of the Ronin -- is scheduled to release this quarter. However, it should be kept in mind that these are mere speculations. We will find out if they're true soon enough.
