Cyberpunk Stray will receive significant fixes on release day

Stray, a game by Blue Twelve studio, will get so-called day one patch with a number of important fixes.

It can be said with full confidence that the moment this specific action adventure game was announced, the world went crazy (we wrote about it here). The project of independent studio Blue Twelve, in which we play a cute cat roaming a huge cyberpunk city, has become number one on the list of the most desired games on Steam. Not only that, the upcoming adventures of the cat are, at the time of writing this news, on the 5th place on the platform's bestseller list.

Such a positive reception of the upcoming game motivates developers to release the best possible product. It is not surprising, then, that according to reports from PlayStation Game Size, Blue Twelve has prepared patches for Stray that will be released on the day of the game's release. According to the post (which you can see below), patch 1.01, requiring 5.7 GB, was released on July 9, while shortly afterwards the game received patch 1.02 (the so-called day one patch).

Stray (updates 1.01, 1.02) - list of fixes.

  1. Improved navigation in various places.
  2. Made some game scripts more robust when reloading checkpoints.
  3. Improved audio during cinematics.
  4. Polished audio sounds and general mix.
  5. Small graphical tweaks and fixes.
  6. Improved localisation in several languages.
  7. A LOT of collision fixes.

Stray will be released on July 19 for PS4, PS5 and PC.. The game will be available to PlayStation Extra and Premium subscribers at launch.. It is also worth mentioning that if you decide to pre-order the game on Steam until July 19, you will get it 10% off (26,99 USD)..

For those who have not yet seen the upcoming four-paw version of Cyberpunk, below is the trailer for this interesting production, which Stray undoubtedly is.
