Night Dive Studios, the creative minds behind the last year’s System Shock: Enhanced Edition, have officially announced on their Facebook fanpage that System Shock Remastered, a remake of the 1994’s legendary System Shock, is coming to Kickstarter on June 29. Alas, no further details were shared. In any event, if you’re a fan of the System Shock series, there is still a month and a half until the fundraising campaign starts so you can save up some money for higher-tier rewards.
System Shock Remastered is heading for PC and Xbox One, and it will come out before 2017. In March, Night Dive Studios showed a short pre-alpha gameplay footage that you can see below.
For those of you who might have missed this information, System Shock 3 is already in works with Warren Spector, an industry veteran who previously worked on System Shock, Deus Ex, Thief: The Dark Project, and the Ultima series, on board.
