The Division 2 Will Get New Content in 2021

Ubisoft has confirmed plans to continue supporting The Division 2. Massive Entertainment will prepare new story content that will launch in 2021.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. The Division 2 will continue to be supported with new content in 2021;
  2. The devs also announced that a patch to restore deleted visual effects on PS5 will be coming soon.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will receive new content in 2021. This has been officially confirmed by the game's account on Twitter. Those who are starting their adventure with the title or have decided to return to it will be happy about this.

Originally, Update 12 was to be the last one that the devs team from Massive Entertainment worked on. However, thanks to the continuous support from the players who, despite the passage of time, actively spend time in The Division 2, Ubisoft gave a green light to developing something new.

For new content we will have to wait a little longer. The announcement states that the work has just begun, so we have to arm ourselves with a little patience. Before we get an update that adds new elements to the game, the studio will release patches to fix bugs reported by the players.

One of them is the one that causes the lack of many visuals effects when running The Division 2 on PlayStation 5 after the last update, which enabled us to launch the title in 4K and 60 fps. The players have also been reporting issues with the game crashing for a few days now. Also this problem is to be solved.
