The Elder Scrolls 6 Exclusively for PC and Xbox? Microsoft Renews Suggestion

The Elder Scrolls 6 will come exclusively to PC and Xbox? That's apparently what Microsoft wants. Starfield could start a trend.

Information on The Elder Scrolls VI is scarce, and a lot more time will probably pass before we learn anything about the game itself. However, that doesn't stop speculation about the platforms that Bethesda's game could hit. It is possible that the latest installment of the TES series will be available exclusively on PC and Xbox consoles, as suggested by Microsoft itself..

The Elder Scrolls 6 only on PC and Xbox?

Not so long ago we reported that according to Phil Spencer The Elder Scrolls VI - just like Starfield - should be released exclusively on PCs and the latest generation of Xbox consoles. This narrative seems to be upheld by Microsoft. The document sent to British regulators reads that the latest TES may be an exclusive item for the aforementioned platforms.

In the document, Microsoft describes Bethesda's title as a "mid-size brand.". This could be a move to keep the game exclusive to PC and Xbox in the future. "Size" of the brand refers to the impact on the market and, like Call of Duty has a greater market impact, according to Microsoft, which is keeping the game multiplatform, so with this treatment TES 6 could be an exclusive title.

The exclusivity of the title would certainly prove to be a powerful force, driving sales of Microsoft consoles and Game Pass subscriptions. After all, it's hard to imagine that shortly after the release of The Elder Scrolls VI the game were not expected to meet with massive interest from gamers.

However, it's hard to predict whether this will definitely happen. Recall that in the past Todd Howard has made it clear that he would not want for the game to be an exclusive item. So we will have to wait a little longer for Microsoft's official decision on the target platforms.
