New RTS From Command & Conquer Veterans Gets Release Date and Requirements

We learned the release date and system requirements of The Great War: Western Front, a new RTS from Petroglyph.

Known for, among other things, Command & Conquer Remastered and Star Wars: Empire at War, studio Petroglyph has updated Steam product card of its next game, namely The Great War: Western Front. Thanks to this, we learned many interesting things about this RTS.

  1. The Great War: Western Front will debut on March 30, this year, exclusively on PC.
  2. Those who pre-order The Great War: Western Front, will start playing three days earlier than the rest of the players.

System requirements were also made available on Steam.

The Great War: Western Front - minimum requirements

  1. Processor: Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD FX-8350
  2. Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 390
  3. RAM: 8 GB
  4. Disk space: 13 GB
  5. Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit

The Great War: Western Front - recommended requirements

  1. Processor: Intel Core i7-8600K or AMD Ryzen 7 2600
  2. Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX 5600XT
  3. RAM: 16 GB
  4. Disk space: 13 GB
  5. Operating System: Windows 10/11 64-bit

As you can see, the requirements are quite reasonable.

Recall that The Great War: Western Front is a real-time strategy that will enable you to take part in the action on the Western Front of World War I, where we will command troops of the Entente or Central Powers. The main reason why the project sparks interest are its developers. After all, Petroglyph was founded by veterans of Westwood, who created the Command & Conquer series.
