HD Reworked Project to Upgrade Cyberpunk 2077 Like it Did The Witcher 3

The author of the excellent HD Reworked Project mod for The Witcher 3 has announced that he is working on a similar modification for Cyberpunk 2077.

Improving textures and models, HD Reworked Project is one of the most important mods for The Witcher 3. The project turned out to be so appreciated that it has become an official part of the "next-gen" version of the game. Its author, a Pole known as Halk Hogan, has announced that he is working on a similar modification for Cyberpunk 2077.

The mod will be called simply Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project. For now, the developer is unable to give any, even an approximate, release date. Instead, he released the first trailer of the mod, showing some of the improvements that will be made. The whole thing looks very promising.

As the author explains, version 1.0 of Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project will mainly focus on improving the worst textures in the game while maintaining the visual style of the original. Halk Hogan assures that a lot of attention will be paid to optimization, so using the mod should not result in large performance drops.

Such a project will be of significant use to fans of Cyberpunk 2077. The texture-enhancing modifications released so far are very modest, improving only small elements of the game. A large project that comprehensively improves this aspect of graphics is missing.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project is not the only mod that Halk Hogan is working on. He is also currently working on a a new and better release of HD Reworked Project for The Witcher 3, which is expected to offer even higher quality than what we can see in the "next-gen" version of the game.
