The Last of Us Remake Faces Leak

From the information posted on Reddit, we can learn about the details of the new version of The Last of Us and learn about unreleased screenshots.

This news contains spoilers. If you haven't played The Last of Us in anticipation of the remake, you may want to know plot details that are better experienced during the gameplay.

Critically acclaimed and loved by players, the first part of The Last of Us will live to see its remake on September 9, this year, on PlayStation 5 consoles. There are less than two months left until the remake's release, and the work on the game has already come to an end, but today we have a chance to see another sample of the improved graphics that we will experience in the new version of the game.

On Resetera, user ImBald published screenshots, supposedly coming from The Last of Us: Part I, which he managed to save from a now-deleted post on Reddit. The original post also contained some information that completes the full picture of the upcoming game.

Some of the graphics included in ImBald's post were also no longer available. A renewed attempt to preserve them was made by Twitter user DomTheBomb.

According to the information shared on Resetera the remake of The Last of Us will not include any gameplay improvements. Only graphics, animation and sound will be changed.

In addition, the game is expected to run in two modes - Gameplay Mode is expected to offer 4K quality at 40 frames per second, while Dynamic Mode will provide 4K at 60 fps.

The new version of the game is also expected to offer additional accessibility options, reminiscent of those present in The Last of Us 2.

The original source of this information provided no further explanation or evidence of its veracity.
