The Rock in Fortnite - Leaked Teaser for Chapter 3

Leaks in the gaming market are nothing new - although Fortnite seems to be particularly prone to experience them. Unofficial trailers for the game's third chapter have surfaced on the web.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. A video is circulating among the Fortinte community, allegedly being a teaser for the game's third chapter;
  2. The credibility of the video has been questioned by some users, though speculation is being fueled by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson;
  3. When asked about the leak, Epic Games declined to comment.

Huge leaks have surfaced on TikTok regarding the third chapter of Fortnite. The video that is making rounds on the Internet suggests that big changes are coming to the look of the map. What's more, leaks are not limited only to what the community found - Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was significantly involved in the leak's propagation.

The above video presents characters from the second chapter, which are suddenly swept away by a huge wave. Then the action moves to the ocean, where Agent Jones observes the map known from the game, which suddenly turns upside down.

The event is depicted in a rather solemn manner, with spaceships from previous seasons also circling the island. Then, through something like an explosion, the sky lightens up and a new map is revealed.

As we all know, leaks do not always turn out to be true, so a lot of people have doubts about the above animation. At this point, however, comes the thread of The Rock, who on his Instagram shared a rather specific video.

As noted by Polygon, in addition to an energy drink advertisement, the video also features a Foundation helmet belonging to one of the Fortnite characters. What's more The Rock's statement includes several references to the game and, of course, camera movement, which is incredibly similar to that accompanying the rotation of the map in the aforementioned trailer. The hashtag "ifyouknowyouknow" in the Instagram post also fuels speculation.

Epic Games, asked about the authenticity of this leak, declined to comment. So is The Rock heading to Fortnite? Much points to this possibility - such indications were also present earlier. Although it should be remembered that these are still just rumors, not official information.
