The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Launches

The Eco Lifestyle expansion for The Sims 4 lauched today. The add-on was released on PCs and consoles at the same time, and the initial feedback is positive.

As announced, another expansion to Maxis' hit life sim game The Sims 4, The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle debuted on the market today. The add-on was released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It's a non-standalone add-on, so the base game is required to play.

For the time being, too few reviews have been published to conclude whether or not the add-on meets the expectations. At the time of writing this news, the only article with a review is the one available on Realsport101, where Eco Lifestyle was given 8/10. The reviewer praises the rich content and intriguing new gameplay mechanics. An additional attraction is that some of the new solutions also affect the worlds of previous DLCs. The criticism focused mainly on the fact that at first it's a little difficult to get a hand of all available options.

Let us recall that The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle focuses on the eponymous ecological lifestyle. The expansion offers a new world in the form of the town of Evergreen, which we have to change in order to make it nature-friendly. We must take care of recycling and influence the life of the community through local voting. There will also be many new items.

It is worth mentioning that a few days ago a patch was released, which prepared The Sims 4 for the arrival of Eco Lifestyle, and at the same time introduced a lot of new items, including firefighters, bailiffs and the long-awaited ladders. The update proved to be somewhat rough around the edges. Some of the bugs it introduced are annoying, but others cause amusement, e.g. a bug causing sims to set fire to toilets when taking care of their physiological needs.
