The Sims 4: My Wedding Stories Will be Fixed; Devs Publish List of Changes

Maxis takes on fixing My Wedding Stories. The latest addition to The Sims 4 is in for a lot of patches.

  • Maxis unveiled plan to fix My Wedding Stories;
  • The problematic DLC is in need of many patches;
  • It will receive two updates in the coming weeks.

The latest addition for The Sims 4 did not get off to a good start. At the time of release My Wedding Stories drew attention primarily through the overwhelming number bugs.

Maxis, however, does not intend to throw down arms. The studio promises that it will fix the bugs and refine the aforementioned DLC. Developers published a short post, in which they revealed what issues they will deal with in the near future.

A lot of fixes inbound

In a post on The Sims 4 website there is a list of fixes that we can expect in the future.

  1. Sims will no longer block each other while performing various actions.
  2. Improvements will include walking down the aisle.
  3. Friends of both sims getting married will be invited to the wedding, not just the one who organizes it.
  4. Guests will appear at the ceremony in appropriate attire.
  5. Guests' outfits will also be remembered after closing and reopening the wedding planner.
  6. Sims will gather around the cake at the right time and in the right way.
  7. The wedding cake will spoil after a longer time than before.
  8. Cake elements will no longer levitate, plus the appearance of the cake will match whether it has already been sliced.
  9. The kiss animation will be improved.
  10. Myshuno Meadows Center Park in San Myshuno will show up on the list of locations to get married.
  11. Dancing in couples will be improved.

In the coming weeks, players can expect two updates foe My Wedding Stories. The first one will introduce smaller changes, and the second one will introduce the major fixes.
