This Interactive Assassin’s Creed timeline is “freaking awesome” and a must-see for any fan of the series
The ultimate AC timeline is here and of course, it’s fan made. Whoever created this should be the one in charge of the Animus Hub.

Timelines and plots in long-running game series (you know, the ones with so many entries we’ve lost track) are usually a tangled mess and take a ton of info to make sense of. Luckily, someone went ahead and did all that work for the Assassin’s Creed games, laying out the character arcs, historical settings, and even a map to tie it all together.
Assassin’s Creed in one glance
Who doesn’t love it when everything’s laid out nice and clean in one spot? No endless scrolling through walls of text or opening extra tabs just to get the full picture. Just one simple page with some cool interactive bits, easy and straight to the point. It’s exactly the kind of setup that makes exploring the details a breeze.
Reddit user SmilgaNir shared his latest project on r/assassinscreed, where he created an interactive timeline on Tableau Public. It maps out the main Assassin’s Creed character sagas, giving a full overview of the series from the first game launched in 2007 to AC Shadows. We can follow the journeys of protagonists, explore the real-world locations featured in each game, and dive into different parts of the series through the interactive interface. Just keep in mind, it only includes the mainline titles, so you won’t see, for example, Aveline or key figures from AC Chronicles.
Even without the spin-off characters, Nir Smilga’s timeline has gotten loads of praise for its straightforward approach. People are calling it “freaking awesome” and saying, “This is what Animus Hub should’ve been” and I couldn’t agree more.
