A new, extensive gameplay of Hardspace: Shipbreaker, a space scrapper game developed in parallel with Homeworld 3 by Blackbird Interactive, has just appeared on the web.
As part of Summer of Gaming 2020, an extensive gameplay from Hardspace: Shipbreaker, a game about a space scrap collector, has been published. Blackbird Interactive, the team known from Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak is working on the game.
The video offers more than eight minutes of gameplay with a commentary from one of the developers. The material shows the process of dismantling a Gecko class spacecraft. The gameplay seems to be very extensive. It is not enough to cut the vessel into pieces. The player will have to shut down the on-board systems, create space to transport parts and avoid many dangers along the way.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and will debut in early access in three days, on June 16.
The early version will offer the first act of the single-player story campaign, which will last about 15 hours of fun. This will be accompanied by the free sandbox mode. Players will be able to have fun at scrapping two classes of spaceships.
The game is to spend 12 months in early access, but the developers note that it may take longer to reach version 1.0, depending on the workflow.
