Torment: Tides of Numenera is launching on February 28, Day One and Collector's Editions revealed

Only two and a half month is left until the release of Torment: Tides of Numenera, spiritual successor to cult classic Planescape Torment.

The much anticipated spiritual successor of Black Isle’s cult classic RPG Planescape Torment has got a solid release date via a Kickstarter update. Torment: Tides of Numenera is coming out on February 28, 2017. This information came along with details on two boxed versions: Day One Edition and Collector’s Edition coming for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Both will include some nice physical and digital goodies – such as a printed map, soundtrack CD, a guide, and more – obviously, varying on the cost and content. You can now pre-order the two editions in some regions – just head over to the official website.

You can also buy the Early Access version of Torment: Tides of Numenera for $44.99 on Steam and play through the first chapter now. There will be a DRM-free version on GOG too with an option to exchange your Steam edition for it. Both the aforementioned boxed realases and physical goodies promised to Kickstarter backers are handled by Techland, Poland-based publishing company, known best for Dying Light.

Recently, inXile shared a series of videos introducing the three main character classes in Torment: Tides of Numenera. They are: Nanos (local counterparts of the fantasy mage), Glaives (warriors, who can focus on either strength or speed, or balance the two traits), and Jacks (versatile characters using their wits and persuasion as their most dangerous weapon).
