Tormented Souls Gets New Gameplay, Sign Ups For Beta Begin
New gameplay from the survival horror Tormented Souls has been released. It shows the inspiration with Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark series declared by the devs. Closed beta tests were also announced.

Tormented Souls's publisher PQube has released an extensive new gameplay video. The video offers over six minutes of gameplay from the upcoming survival horror and gives a good idea of the direction the project is heading.
The video shows, among others, conversations, exploration, puzzle solving and combat. The game refers to the classic representatives of its genre. The atmosphere, camera work and battles are reminiscent of the early installments of the Resident Evil series. However, we can also see the clear influence of the first three installments of Alone in the Dark, as declared by the devs, especially in terms of puzzles, which are more complex than what survival horror games usually offer.
Dual Effect and Abstract Digital Works are working together on Tormented Souls. When releasing the new gameplay, the creators also informed that the second closed beta will start soon (the first one took place in February). Tests will take place only on PC and will be attended by players chosen from among those who register on the game's official website.
Invitations to the beta will be sent out on April 21. Selected people will receive an email with the codes to unlock the test version on Steam. The tests will last until May 1.
Recall that Tormented Souls is coming to PC and consoles PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The release is expected to take place this year.
