Valve Prioritizes Editor for Half-Life: Alyx
Valve Software's developers have announced that their priority is now to provide a level editor for Half-Life: Alyx. Unfortunately, they are unable to say when this will happen for now, but we should get more information soon.
Developers from Valve Software - creators of Half-Life: Alyx, the recently released FPS dedicated to VR goggles - informed that their priority now is to provide a level editor for this production. The information was given in a post from one of the creators - Jake Brodkin - on the ResetEra forum, written in response to a question asked by a fan.
"It [the editor - editorial note] is the teams focus now that the game’s out. There will be more info soon but we’re working on it. Sorry I don’t have a date beyond that but I’m sure there will be more communication soon. Most of last week was spent on post-launch patching and tech support," wrote Brodkin.
