Warhammer 40,000: Darktide offers no shortage of challenging opponents. In the game we will have to wade through hordes of enemies and fight challenging bosses. One of the unique opponents is called Daemonhost, and the fight very often ends with the death of our character. Where is Daemonhost?
Daemonhost is an opponent that is not always in the same place. In order to come across him, a certain requirement should be met. He can be found when a Special Condition Power Supply Interruption occurs, which can appear in various missions. In that case, it is worth listening for whispers and heading in their direction. If you come across a group of followers of this creature, you will be on the right spot. To start the fight, all you need to do is get close, use a flashlight or simply attack Daemonhost.
However, the opponent is very challenging and when playing alone with bots it is almost impossible to defeat. He behaves like the Witch from Left 4 Death and attacks continuously.. After the player falls, he lifts them with his power and kills in a few moments. So far, no way to stop this has been found. So if you are in a dark location and hear whispers somewhere nearby, it is advisable to go in a different direction and avoid fighting this opponent.
Daemonhost fight and achievement
However, if you decide to face this opponent and manage to defeat him, you will receive the achievement "Banisher". Before fighting Daemonhost, you should assemble a good party, and preferably Ogryn should be in it. It is him that the opponent should attack. Then Ogryn should use slab shield and act as a typical tank. The rest of the team should then attack the boss before he defeats Ogryn. Thus, the team should include characters who are able to deal a lot of damage in a short period of time.
If there is no Ogryn on the team, the person who focuses Daemonhost's aggression on themselves should focus solely on blocking and avoiding his attacks.
