WoW Patch 9.1 May Introduce Glasses
Information from Twitter suggests that new cosmetic items, namely glasses, may be coming to World of Warcraft with the next update.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- Glasses may be coming to WoW;
- It's reported that 4-6 different cosmetic items (BoP) will be added to the game with patch 9.1;
- The developers declined to comment on the matter.
It looks like the MMORPG World of Warcraft may soon feature some highly anticipated cosmetic items - glasses. Information on this subject was dug up in the files of the game client tested on the Public Test Server and published on Twitter by user Kru.
According to reports, along with update 9.1 there will be at least four different pairs of glasses in WoW, called Muscisian's Shades (it looks like a typo, possibly intentional), Hipster Shades, Black Rimmed Spectacles, and Half-Rim Reading Glasses. The WoWHead website has also published images showing two more items - these, however, are unnamed for now. In all cases we're dealing with cosmetic items that cannot be given away or sold (they belong to the BoP category, or Binds on Pickup).
It's worth noting that Blizzard Entertainment declined to comment on this matter to Polygon's editors. We can only wait for further developments.
