Huge Dungeons in Zelda: TotK Confirmed - Nintendo Reveals What to Expect

Bigger, regional and more „traditional”. Here's what the dungeons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are supposed to be like compared to Breath of the Wild.

Not only Blizzard is building fan expectations before the release of its big game. Nintendo, too is sparing no efforts to make gamers eagerly await the debut of the new Zelda. This is also served by another part of the interview with the devs, which mentioned the huge dungeons that Link will explore in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Part of the conversation touched on issues we've heard about before, including aerial exploration. This sections - as mentioned recently by enthusiastic journalists - significantly increases the area to explore. There was also a hint of limitations encountered when working on Breath of the Wild due to the game's release on the Wii U console.

It was for this reason that Eiji Aonuma's team had to abandon many ideas or adjust them to the capabilities of the old device. This may have been the case with the dungeons, as in Tears of the Kingdom "dungeons" will be larger and more diverse.

Their appearance and features will depend on the location in which they are located, and should they be challenging for the players. Thus, according to the developers, they will be closer to the "classic" dungeons familiar to fans of the series.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom will debut tomorrow exclusively on the Nintendo Switch console. Meanwhile, the last two parts of the interview with the game's developers will be released later today.
