On this page of the guide to The Sinking City, we will show you how easily replenish stocks. You can use a small trick that restores small loot inside interactive containers. The whole mechanism is described in detail below.
The whole "trick" is that you can repeatedly open the same containers with small loot, that is, with ammunition, first aid kits, grenades or crafting materials. This is because the game does not mark opened chests or cabinets as examined, unlike the traces related to investigations.
You have to do the following things:
- Get to any place where there are at least a few containers with a small lot. Can be any public place (for example, the hospital) or other place related to an investigation (e.g., a crime scene.)
- Go to all interactive containers in that location and remove items from them.
- If you have received information that your inventory is full (the example in the picture above), use them immediately in crafting to make new items (ammo, traps, grenades, etc.) and make room for new crafting materials.
- Save the game manually.
- Pause the game and immediately load the latest save. When you get back to that location, search the containers again.
This method also works without manual saves. You can simply travel between main locations in Oakmont or return to optional locations from the previous cases. Despite the fact that you have examined them in 100%, the chests with loot will have new random items stored inside them.
