Witcher Monster Slayer: Enemy is too difficult - what to do?
On this page of The Witcher Monster Slayer guide, you will find information on what to do if a monster's level is too high.
Evaluating difficulty level

Each enemy has their own difficulty level. It's very easy to see. Skulls appear next to the enemy:
- no skull - easy,
- one skull - medium,
- two skulls - hard.
Enemy weaknesses

Every enemy has some type of weakness. They are worth taking advantage of. These are listed before the fight begins. It's a good idea to select your equipment based on them.
Weaknesses most often are:
- a particular type of weapon,
- attack speed or power,
- attack types.
Preparing the gear

The game is very helpful in choosing equipment. Items that will work best on a given opponent have a gold rim. This applies to all types of items, whether swords or oils, bombs or potions.
It is worth paying attention to the enemy's species. Oils that work great on specific species:

- Ogroid Oil - increases melee damage against ogroids by 100%;
- Cursed Oil - increases melee damage against the cursed by 100%;

- Specter Oil - increases melee damage against specters by 100%;
